Has anyone used an at home laser hair removal system on their face? I saw an article today about 2 different FDA approved at home laser hair removal systems, the Tria and the Silk'n. Has anyone used either of these particular products and if so have you tried it on your face? Both suggest that they are not approved for face and neck use, but I'm looking for someone who broke the rules and can share their experience. Thanks so much!
What are the best home laser hair removal products on the market? I'm currently looking into buying a Rio Salon Laser LAHR hair removal set which retails for approx ~ $120 online - this only removes one hair at a time but appears to be effective for most people. Are there any other similar *laser* products in this price range that offer multiple-hair removal capabilities? If you speak from personal experience, it's all the better! Thanks!
Do Cheap home laser hair removal appliances work? The salon devices cost around $20,000 but you can buy small home appliances for home laser hair removal for around $270. The Epila Laser is the only model i've found (eg epilalaser.com) on ebay, but for so little money for something which "can't be bought in shops" I'm sceptical as to whether or not they work, so I'm looking for some trustworthy reviews or websites with info on whether they're worth getting.
Have you used or know someone who has used a home laser hair removal system? I was looking into getting it done professionally but they are a bit vague on how much it costs on UK sites i've seen and how mnay treatments you will need to get yourself of the hair... Then i saw the home version! £200 for area scans, so not cheap. Anyone tried one or knows someone who has and maybe you have some opinions on its effectiveness and value? Thanks
Do at home laser hair removal products work? I have seen several products on ebay that claim to remove hair forever like going to the dr. and having laser hair removal done. Does anyone know if these products work? If they do it would be much cheaper to spend $300 and own the machine then $1,000 for treatment in one area. Here is a link of one product I found as an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-RIO-SCANNING-LASER-PERMANENT-HAIR-REMOVAL-KIT_W0QQitemZ270174692083QQihZ017QQcategoryZ11840QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
hair removal with home laser? Has anyone tried a home laser hair removal? I've heard about Rio , No!no!, and Tria appliances. I'd like to know if it works or if it is not better than a razor. Thanks a lot!
@ Home Hair Laser Removal? Get this - some1 bought the laser hair removal for me and only getting round to it now. Bummer thing is that it says "we recommend NOT recommend using...on eyebrows" yet in another part its says "don't use on ...." so the only place I can use it is the underarms or legs? And what was recommended not being laser because by the looks of the DO NOT column is most of the places where I'd want to laser! Particularly the eyebrows! My question is did anyone else use one at home? How did they find it?
Home laser hair removal treatments? Has anybody had any experience of using home laser hair removal treatments, and did you find that they worked? What system did you try? I am looking at the Rio Scanning LHR system, which apparently treats up to 20 hairs at a time? How difficult was your system to use, how many treatments did you try and how much regrowth was there (and how soon)?? If you also wouldn't mind saying whether you are black/white etc and your hair colour that would be appreciated.
Rio home laser hair removal? Has anyone used the new Rio laser removal system for home use and if so does it work? Also how long does it take to see results? Thinking of buying one but just want to know if it is any use or will i be freecyclying it next year?
home laser hair removal for men, which is best? im trying to buy a home laser hair remover system, or a electrolysis system on ebay or amazon. which is the best kind? the choices i have are: LB500s (laser), Rio Salon (laser), Feel free (electrolysis), Epen (electrolysis), and Vector (electrolysis) please give me any advice. i need to buy it. or if u have other better choices. thanks
Anybody tried a home laser hair removal kit? I would consider buying one to try and cut down on leg shaving etc. But I suspect it will be slow, laborious and risky. I assume you would have to use goggles. I know It works best on light skin and dark hair (absorption of the light rays by the dark pigment...heat...dead hair follicle...hurrah!) The makers of these machines obviously say they're great. But what you you think? Not looking good this. No-one seems to know. The kits are widely available on ebay. I would have thought somebody must have bought one? Not being funny but no-one with any real knowledge has answered yet just people with knee-jerk reactions to the word "laser". Thanks anyway. What's the big mystery with this method then?
How well do at home hair removal lasers work and are there safety risks? I was looking through ebay and noticed they have started to sell at home hair removal lasers. They claim that they work pretty well(of course they do) but they do not mention where there are health risks involved and how painfull they will be. Can anyone give me some info on these subjects?
Laser hair removal For Men, home lasers? Any one try the EPILA LASER PERMANENT HAIR REMOVER? or the LB500s Laser Hair Remover? or the RIO SCANNING LASER PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL? do they work ? are the results as good as those when you visit a professional? *if there is no reduction, do you at least get rid of the hair for a certain amount of time?
At home laser hair removal........? Whats the best brand? How well do they work? What has the best results? What are the negitive results (if any)? How painful are they? Can the be used on sensitive areas like bikini areas? Personal experience please! Thanks so much for your time!!!!

Laser hair Removal at Home? I know all about laser hair removal. I just need to know if there is inexpensive authentic laser hair removal DEVICE available to use on myself at home? Is the technology up there yet? I do not like my body hair and I am tired of shaving the whole body. Thanks
Laser hair removal - at home gadgetry? Has anybody tried a laser gadget for hair removal that they bought say in Argos ? They seem like a good idea. Heres the desription of one available for 100 quid in argos. You can now enjoy the lasting benefits of laser hair removal without expensive salon treatments. Laser hair removal works by sending a laser beam to the hair follicle with enough energy to destroy the root, without affecting the surrounding area. After a few treatments you will completely clear an area of hair. Be free of unwanted hair forever. Seems great so whats the catch? any experience of these?
Laser hair removal?????? Has anybody bought a home laser hair removal machine? They're usually about £120-ish. Did it work well? were you happy with the results??? Its a lot to spend and i dont want to be stuck with a piece of useless crap like the home electrolysis kits. Thanks :0)

Permanent hair removal at home? I found this product called the Verseo ePen Permanent Hair Removal System. Which is like electrolysis at home but wihtout the painful needle. I went for electrolysis a few years ago but i couldnt handle the pain so i stoped! i was wondering if anyone knows of this product and if it really works? it was on HSN as well. here is the website of where i found it http://www.verseo.com/epen.html is there any other PERMANENT at HOME methods out there i dont have the money for laser hair removal and i cant stand the pain of electrolysis and its too expensive as well!

Hair removal...laser and electrolysis? I was wondering if anyone has tried, or knows someone, or knows much about laser or electrolysis hair removal. If you have, I had a few questions: Was it particularly painful? Which do you think is better? How much does it usually cost? Was it worth it? Does anyone recommend someone who does it...links would be useful. Also, Did it actually work?!? I have also heard about home permanent hair removal kits...anyone heard of them...do they work and are they safe?...or just a con? ...Anyone know any other permanent hair removal things?
What's the best way to remove facial hair without shaving? (for guys)? I've always had fast growing facial hair - ever since I was 13 years old. It's a little silly shaving everyday because most of it's completely grown back just a few hours later. I've taken a look at home Laser hair removal kits as well as electric shavers - sadly neither of these made much difference, so what options have I got left to me?. I don't want to do something that'll discolor my skin, but I hear that waxing might not be a bad option - how long does this usually last? (and is a home waxing just as effective as a professional one?) I've also been reading up on Yahoo Answers about electrolysis - is this a better option than waxing, and does it cost more?
TRIA home laser hair removal? Has anyone tried the new tria home laser hair removal system? i read that tria is for permanent hair reduction not removal- so some hair continues to grow back. i am thinking of getting one but am curious about whether you can still get ingrown hairs when the hair grows back in.
Will you get the new home system for Laser hair removal ? here is a new system called Tria and another called Sik'n coming out for home use in July it has been in use in Japan and UK successfully . They are expensive $600-900 but far less tha going to a Spa. So would you pay $900 to reduce or permanently get rid of unwanted hair ? I know there will always be strays and maintenance but I am curious if others feel its worth it too.. http://online.wsj.com/public/article_print/SB120701119204278961.html http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3455948521879854&q=Tria+hair&total=6&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1
Does Epila home laser hair removal work? I just saw an ad for and at-home laser hair removal and was curious if anyone had bought and used it yet. It costs $200 so I'd like to know if it works before forking over that kind of cash. I shave my legs like everyone else, but I shave my arms too and it can be time-consuming. Anyone know if this works?
hair removal? Hey Has anybody used home laser hair removers? Just seen the Rio Hair Removal System. where "Laser hair removal works by sending a laser beam to the hair follicle with enough energy to destroy the root, without it affecting the surrounding area. " according to their site Does it work doing it yourself, is it any good? Anyone ever used this or similar? Thinking of it for bikini line area etc as i never seem to have time to go to the salon for waxing and shaving or creams don't give the same results!
Who has found something that works for permanent hair removal at home? Does anyone have any success stories for anything that works to permanently remove unwanted hair?!!! Creams or machines or ANYTHING?!! My husband is coming home after being away for 2 years and I am tired of waxing unwanted hair, can anyone help??? Also, I am fair skinned with blonde to strawberry blonde hair, so laser treatment hasn't worked for me :(
Should laser hair removal cause blistering? I have had laser hair removal twice in the past few months. The first time it did not hurt and my face was slighty pink afterwards but not very noticable. The next day I had tiny white blisters on my chin which meant I could not shave, so I stayed home from work for about 3 days until they healed. I did notice a huge difference and was very pleased however I was concerned about the blisters. So I called the clinic and I was told that I probably had some traces of make up on my face and that when the laser hits make up it dries the skin causing blisters. On my second visit, I wore no make up and when she started it really hurt so I asked her to stop, she asked if I was menstruating and I said yes. She said your skin is more sensitive when you have your period and finished making sure I was ok while finishing. After my face looked horrible, bright red with tiny dark purple dots everywhere. Again I had blisters which lasted for about 3 days. Is this normal? I am caucasian with very pale skin and dark brown hair.
Laser hair removal for someone with a tan? Ok so I went in for my first treatment today (facial), and I have aquired a tan throughout summer, but they went ahead and did the procedure anyway. Then I came home and went online, and I read many things that say not to even bother doing the laser if you are tanned. So... should i stop the sessions until my tan goes away or just continue as normal?

Today i was online browsing if laser hair removal would work for me since i've wheatish browned skin and wanted to make sure this works for me. I happened to see that some people who were east indians said it wont work. I was wondering if there are any east indians out there with dark skinned who have got this done. Please help me out because as u might know they make you shave before every treatment and at home once you see hair on ur lip you can only shave. If this doesnt work i dont wanna end up shaving for the rest of my life. Someone please help!!!!

Laser Hair Removal Question-so fast? Tha doctor who attended to my laser hair removal did the thing very quickly. In about 15 minutes or so, he did my entire face. Now, I know that this laser thing is done relatively faster than electrolysis, but I don't know how. Doesn't the laser needle have to prick each pore on the skin? If so, then how can it be so easy, as there are several of them on the skin? I know I should have asked my doctor about it, but it's only after I came home that I realized it. It was my first treatment, too. My hair is very coarse, grows fast and I'm 22 years old. Do you think 6 sessions are enough for me? THANKS A MILLION FOR TAKING THE TIME TO ANSWER!!!!

Laser Hair Removal? (Women only!)? My gyno.'s office just started Laser hair removal and I was wondering if it hurt getting it done "down there". I've been told it hurts but I just wanted some other's opinions. Its just so difficult to find the time to shave at home and I can never get it all.
Help...Laser Hair Removal Didn't Work For Me... Now What? Okay people I need some serious help! I had laser hair done on my whole body and the ONLY place it DID NOT work was my face! Rather than having no hair I have WAY more hair then I've ever had in my life! I even have hair growing on my neck! My whole face is covered in hair, I have to wax it every 6 days! I hate leaving my home, I have not put my hair up in 3 years! I've just discovered Yahoo Answers, and hope that someone out there can help me. Thanks for reading this, hope you can help... I have had over 25 laser hair removal treatments on my face, and it has grown back even worse. I don't know what to do! HELP
laser hair removal? i had it done and it kicks butt i was hair free for about 1 year but i would rather buy the machine and have it at home to use whenever instead of having to make an appointment, anyone know what kind they use and where to get one?
How much does laser hair removal typically cost (facial)? I have an excessive amount of facial hair and Im tired of living inside because of the embarresment. I need answers and help if you can. Who should I see? (ive heard spas cost the most and shouldnt be considered) How many treatments does it usually take? I know everyone is different, but.. how many treatments did it take for you? How "permanant" is this? Was it worth it for you? I heard it works best on dark haired people with lighter skin? Any info you can give me would be wonderful. No info on waxing or home kits please. Been there done that. Ive had enough with the crap at cvs and other pharmacies.
Pemanent hair removal? I would really like to remove unwanted hair permanently at home. I have tried electrolysis and laser hair removal. None seem to have worked. Can anyone suggest one that has worked wonders for them and is actually permanent. thank you

Waxing? Please help me!? Ok, so I HATE body hair, it just dosn't seem clean to me, and people look (and feel) way better without it. Sadly, when it comes to my own, I'm having trouble. I've tried shaving and bladeless products like veet and nair but I'm just left with ugly ingrown hairs and hair shadows, not cool. I even spent an entire paycheck on one of those at home laser hair removal things - not only does it like hardly work, but it takes forever and is really painful! Is waxing a possible fix? I haven't heard anything about it leaving ingrown hairs or hair shadows, and I don't see how it could, but is it easy and affordable? Can you recommend a product, or a company that would ship a free sample in the mail? I am a latino with a medium skin tone and dark hair, if that makes a difference (O'm told it does with some products).
facial hair problem? i'm a girl and i have facial hair on my lips, and does anyone know how to stop the growth and anything to do at home except for waxing, plucking, or laser hair removal?? does certain food have anything to do with it??? please help
Why is there still hair where I just got lasered? Hi, I have just gone for my second laser hair removal treatment but when I got home I noticed that all there hair where I got lasered was still there!? I shaved it off assuming that maybe they came to the top right after the second treatment. When I went for the first treatment all the hair was gone right after. Is there a possibility that the woman who did it did it wrong?
Hair removal, which is the best long term and cheapest? I hate shaving as it simply causes more hair, plus to have smooth legs all the time its a hassel. I prefer to home wax, however its time consuming and messy as I use hot wax. I am curious to know which is the best permanent hair removal (i.e laser), and on average how much would it cost to get your legs done and bikini line?
Effective Hair removal ? Hi, whats the best hair removal option for the bikini area, bearing in mind I get lots of horrid ingrown hairs from shaving or veet, and end up covered in little red spots. Can you use an electric epilator on your bikini area? I cant afford laser, is home waxing any good (UK products only) or salon waxing? Is it embarrassing if you want to have a brazilian? HELP!! I dont want anymore ingrowing hairs!! Anything except laser?

Home waxing kits? What are the best kits?(price isn't an issue) And how much do they hurt lol? I've heard terrifying stories lol or should I save myself the trouble and get laser hair removal(which i've heard feels like someone snaping an elastic on your skin) or go to a spa and have them do it? sry I didn't think of putting that in. thighs, and stomach. p.s i'm a guy , not that it really matters though lol
permanent hair removal? I know that dermatologists are using laser methods to remove hair but are there any creams or anything else, so I can use it at home?
Do I have permanent scaring?? I'm doing laser hair removal on my legs. I went to my second treatment yesterday and it was a really bad experience. Unlike the previous time where I felt some pain, this time was horrible. I had to make her stop a couple of time because I was not able to endure the burning sensation. She explained to me that because my skin is a bit tanned this time, the laser is having a hard time making the different between the hair and the skin.I went home with a burning and an itch sensation in my legs. During the evening, I started to notice some red cercles all over my legs from where the laser hit. Today, those same marking are purple to dark brown. Some of them are even a little bubbly (sorry, i know this sounds nasty!). My questions are : Do I have some degree of burn on my legs? Will is eventually go away? Do I have to use any special cream?
I recorded my wife saying this to her 'boyfriend'. I have filed for divorce. Was I cruel to her? I just wanted to say that he would not be at home today because, from 6pm to 8pm for he has to give a plant tour. What I just wanted to say was that I will have unsupervised time. Fine, I love you, Ok, I just wanted to hear your voice. So I just wanted to let you know that there is a reason, opportunity tonight. Ok, I will try to prepare for you, ...... if I can. I probably can slip from work earlier, Like at 5. Yeah, but I'm not sure that I can park there at your place. Where is the other parking that I can use? And then I have to walk. Oh s**t. Oh, I'll probably screw around with him. OK. Hopefully I will see you if you want to see me. Just a one clear thing about me: The lady doing my laser hair removal treatment told me not to shave my armpits for like a week and a half. She insisted and wrote on the card. So I can't do that. No problem. Don't look at them, OK ? --- ( laugh ) OK? See you then later. I cannot. um hm. bye.
What are the options for permanent hair removal? Anything I ahve read on these "do it at home" items has been that they are bogus. Would laser or electrolisis places perform "everywhere" if you catch my drift? I'm hesitant to have lasers or needles anywhere NEAR there.... but the hair is a pain in the well, you know :)
