I would like laser hair removal on my face. Does anyone know about this? I'm 43, and I've had a bad problem with lip and chin hair for about 8 years now.........and I'm noticing the hair along my cheeks seems a thicker peach fuzz blonde than it used to be.......although the hair on my lip and chin is definitely dark brown. Anyway, I'm thinking about getting my whole face hair laser removal.....lip, chin, cheeks I've called a few places, and most say that they would have no problem using the laser on my lip and chin......but they might have problems with the blonde peach fuzz hair on my cheeks and sideburn area. Also, most places are quoting around $750 for lip and chin, and way over $1000 for all of it. What do you all think? Also, are there any risks with laser removal?

LASER hair removal???????????????? Anyone who is familiar with LASER HAIR REMOVAL, please answer my question!!!? Today I had my second session of laser to remove my facial hair. On the first session, he did it everywhere on my face. But, on the second one, he did everything except the nose and the forehead. OK, so maybe I'm not so hairy in these areas, but he did it the first time. When the session was drawing to a close, I reminded him to do the nose and the forehead as he did it before, and he said that the numbing cream was not put on these areas today, hence he would touch on these areas on the next session, next month. It was clearly a mistake on the part of the assistant who didn't properly apply the numbing cream evenly. My question is whether the hair on the untouched follicles today will lag behind the others that were touched by the laser, improvementwise. It's said that lasers catch thicker hair better, and therefore take only a few sessions. The finer the hair, the more sessions. So, will it take longer for the nose and forehead hair to stop growing? Since each session is expensive, my plan was to do all areas at the same time, so that they will stop growing at the same time. Now, it seems that it won't be so, because of what happened today. I'll have to wait another session for the forehead and nose to be touched!!!

Laser Hair Removal for Men - Reduction possible or complete Removal? I am male considering LHR and need your help. My arms are quite hairy indeed, to the point where I want to have something done. I understand from various reading that the laser that passes through skin to damage the hair follicles only affects hairs that are currently in their growth phase. Multiple sessions would be required in order to remove all hairs. Now, as a man, I don't want COMPLETELY hairless arms... but I DO want there to be a significant reduction in comparison to how they are now. I figured that having less sessions would result in a 'symmetrical' reduction rather than complete removal. But I also figure that hairs are randomly in growth/dormant phases and by having fewer sessions so that not all hairs are removed, random patches of hairs will still be present.... So I guess that there is no way to properly REDUCE? It's either COMPLETE removal of an area or random patches of Hair / No Hair being left behind? Your input would be most appreciated.

Hello, I've had laser hair removal done a while ago and after the treatments about 4 days would go by then i would notice red dots where the hair follicle was before... -the dots look similar to when you wax and get red dots/ only after laser hair removal it was somewhat irritatingly painful. Does Laser Hair Removal Work? I just spent $3000 on laser hair removal. This covers 3 years of laser treatments; one treatment every two months. I have had 2 treatments and have not noticed any results. The technician said it might take up to 15 treatments. Laser Hair Removal - Hair not falling ?!!!? Three weeks ago I had my first laser hair removal treatment in what should be a process of many sessions. I am dark skinned with dark, coarse hairs and using a Yag Lyra laser. I am having treatments done on my legs, bikini area, and lower abdomen. From my internet research I had understood that following my treatment, the majority of my hair would 'shed'. However, I have had almost no shedding on my legs and only some (about half) in the other areas. The doctor says that this is what would be expected, but I am concerned. Laser hair removal on upper lip I got burnt after laser I need some advice on healing? Ok so I got Laser Hair removal on my upper lip from a reliable place a dermotologist office. The guy doing the laser burnt a little part of my upper lip where he was tryin to remove the hair. It became a scab and it pealed off, but it looks like a fresh wound still and I fear that it may scar. Has anyone gone through this and has it scared them. The doctor gave me something to put on it to heal it faster and make sure it doesn't scar. Secondly, he says there is nothign to worry about and it will be fine. I am worried because this is my FACE and I don't want it to be scared. I can cover it with make up but I want my upper lip to be back to normal. I am looking at the Rio Scanning LHR system, which apparently treats up to 20 hairs at a time? How difficult was your system to use, how many treatments did you try and how much regrowth was there (and how soon)?? Has anyone had laser hair removal from Ideal Image? I'm intrested in getting laser hair removal for my bikini line, and I'm looking into going to Ideal Image to get this done. Ideal Image is a chain, but I've looked at the website and it seems to be a safe and professional laser hair removal salon. Have any of you gotten laser hair removal? How was it? Would ou recommend it to someone else? And, did you get it done at Ideal Image? How much did it cost and how many sessions did you attend? I don't think I'd attend Ageless Remedies since I live in CT, but Ideal Image seems to be really similar to it. Thanks for your imput!

Does Laser hair removal really remove hair permanently forever.? I got laser hair removal on my armpits. I have black hair and a fair complexion. I thought I was the prime candidate. The hair removal was a package of three treatments for 350 dollars. I thought that it would make it much less and when i had more money, i would get more treatments done. To my disappointment, i am still hairy and have to shave regularly. i did do two treatments on my legs and have noticed an improvement there. does anyone else have any feedback.

Laser Hair Removal I got Burnt Need some help or suggestions to prevent scarring? Ok so I got Laser Hair removal on my upper lip from a reliable place a dermotologist office. The guy doing the laser burnt a little part of my upper lip where he was tryin to remove the hair. It became a scab and it pealed off, but it looks like a fresh wound still and I fear that it may scar. Has anyone gone through this and has it scared them. The doctor gave me something to put on it to heal it faster and make sure it doesn't scar. Secondly, he says there is nothign to worry about and it will be fine. I am worried because this is my FACE and I don't want it to be scared. I can cover it with make up but I want my upper lip to be back to normal. Please anyone have any advice, or have they been through this. Secondly, any suggestion on what to use to make sure it doens't scar or clears up sooner? Thanks

I had my first laser hair removal today on the top of my back and was warned not to use sunbeds for the entire treatment which will be over intervals of about 6 months. I use sunbeds about every 3-4 weeks and although I have agreed not to use them due to adverse pigmentation reations that could occur, I was wondering if it would be ok to use them if I applied sun block onto the area I am having treated to protect my skin from the rays.
