What is the best area for breast augmentation incisions? I am going in for breast augmentation in a few months, and I was wondering if anyone who has had implants already could give me some advice. I am leaning towards a trans axillary incision (in the armpit) because I definately do not want the subareolar incision (under the nipple). However, they told me that the armpit incision may cause the implants to be further apart. The other site I was deciding on was inframammary (under the breast in that crease). The only problem is that my breasts are so small that I have no crease right now. If anyone has had the transaxillary incision before, please let me know how the results were. I'm excited but I don't want to be making the wrong decision. Okay... I did not ask if it was safe or not. Nor did I want information about medical tourism or plastic surgery in India. :P

Are some days worse than others following breast augmentation with regards to pain? My g/f recently had breast augmentation (Thursday) the 21st and then had to have emergency surgery Friday the 22nd to drain a hematoma that she had as a result of her initial surgery. She had sub-muscular implant surgery. Today, her 4th day after the second surgery, her pain has been a bit more intense than the previous days......It is still tolerable though. Are some days worse than others or should her pain get better every day?

Can I have breast augmentation without first removing the lump in my breast? I had a mammogram to rule out a lump that has been in my breast for about 15 years. They suggested I have it removed, but project a benign outcome. However, I am having my breasts lifted with implants placed. Will this lump pose a problem? I was told though that doctors wont do the breast implant if you only want to go from an A to a B. Breast Augmentation? I am 23 and have breastfed two babies. I use to love my breast, but now I am very embarressed of them. I never thought that I would want any cosmetic surgery but for the first time I can't quit thinking about it. My husband thinks the opposite. He likes them and don't think that there is anything wrong with them let alone implants. With my first son I was a 34 DD and with my daughter I was a 34 D. And naturally I was a good 34 C.
