Pain in foot from a condition called Mortons Neuroma? Does anyone else suffer? Is this a common condition? I have had issues with my left leg for the last 2 years, problems resulting from both an ankle surgery and a knee surgery. About a month ago I couldn't bear weight on my left foot because my toe and top of the foot hurt so bad. I went to the Dr, and a stress fracture was ruled out. I was told I had Mortons Neuroma? Is this something they do in a Dr office or is it an outpatient surgery?

It has been almost 2 months for me and the ball of my foot is still sore even though they removed neuroma from top of foot. I also have numbness where the nerve ws removed. My Dr. says it could take up to a year.
